Thanks for taking your time to stop by, and check us out.  If you've noticed we've got a new look, again.  I'm adding new pictures as needed, although I know it seems to be very slowly.

The Lord has truly blessed Heather's Leathers.  If you need to talk to me personally, {Wayne}, I'll try to return most all calls as soon as I get a chance, that day after 3:00 p.m..  I hope that everyone understands this, and is patience with us in this matter.  When you call you'll most likely talk to Jaimie my niece, she's doing the phone, desk, computer, and paperwork work now.  She's new so she'll love to talk to you about your seats, and orders.  Just be patience with her.

As you can tell this web site is up and running.  However, I've got a load of pictures that I've been wanting to show, and have lost some names to whose bike belongs to whom.  So please email me and let me know if you reconise a seat, bag or bike, sales@heathersleathers.com, if you know.  Even the years of some of the bikes have been misplaced.  Anyway please get in touch with us and let us know what you think.

I thank the Lord for our customers. Heather's Leathers is a God orientated business. We base our business around our faith of Jesus Christ, and the King James Bible. We, here at Heather's Leathers are Christians, saved by Grace, as such we don't work on Sundays, and we try to take most Saturdays off. However, we're here at the shop from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm, Tuesday thru Friday.  I've business errands to do on Mondays.

Look around and remember that we can, and do build much more then what is shown. We'll be updating as we get time. New pictures are being added as quickly as we can.  Remember that all pictures are customers' own seats, and bags, that they have ordered. Nothing is done just to have a picture made of. The work that you see is the type of work that you get.

We at Heather's Leathers, all appreciate your business and look forward to helping you in any way that we can.  Please be patience as we are normally under-funded, under-staff, and always over-worked.  Which I do thank the Lord for all of the customers orders.  It's better to wear out, then rust out.

Also, check out our Specials Page!
This is our newest solo seat! It's is a 1350 with saddle bags added, or can be removed, if you wish. Call and lets talk about one for your bike.
1350-SSB
This was the most talked about seat in 07. Everybody just loved it.

Cotton came by and wanted an orignal to match his bike, well here it is. After it was finished, we decided that as awlsome as it was, it reminded us all of a map. If some one would like a map seat, call and let me know. I'mm gonn'a be doing me one from Clover, S.C. to L.A., That's where the real Heather of Heather's Leathers lives now. That way I'll always have a map from here to there. That being said, can we say your city to Daytona, Sturgis, or where ever?
Cotton's custom!

Also, we guarantee our work for years, not months. Retail customers, if you happen to drop your bike and destroy one of our seats send it back to us, and we'll repair, or replace it (our option), for 1/2 of the current retail price.  This would also include spilling brake fluid, or battery acid on your seat cover.  Oops!  One customer has a good many Blood hounds, whom, belive that all a new motorcycle seats were good for, was a chew toy!  He's working on his 3rd recover.

This seat is going on a woman's sport bike. She's a Scorpio, and wanted it on the seat. She brought me a design from a tattoo, This is what I used as a reference.

Repairs We at Heather's Leathers can, and do complete seat pan repair, and ID. Welding, thread repair; stud replacement, powder coating, and the list goes on, and on. We've been doing this for over 18 years, I've seen a lot of seats pans, and know what they're suppose to look like. Nothing is sadder then to see a bad weld job on a nicely restored seat. Send it to us to repair, our prices are very reasonable.  However, that being said due to the incredible amount of bad, (i.e. destroyed, non-useable, would not give $20.00 for), seat pans that are being given to us as trade ins, when we supply the seat pans first, (trusting that the customer is as honest as we try to be), we will no longer give trades on a no-see basis.  All trade ins, (starting on November 1, 2005), will have to be seen first. If you want a 1st quality seat pan, then trade in a first quality seat pan. If you want junk, then we'll be happy to give you junk, otherwise don't complain about the seat pan price!  If you do have a less then perfect seat pan let me know as I will still take these, however, on an as seen basis.  I really try to be fair to all concern.

Also, remember that if you call and ask for a quote for a certain type of bike/motorcycle, and I do quote you a price, then when the seat arrives it's something different, then regardless of what it came off of, it "WILL" be priced as to what the seat actually is.  People are sending Heather's Leathers, what they believe is a Cushman seat, Indian Vertical solo seat, Antique bicycle seat, etc, etc,... and they are nothing more then regular Indian, or Harley solo seat pans!  That would be a price difference of about $35.00-$65.00.  I take the customers word that the seat is what they say it is, and price it over the phone accordingly.  However, when I get the seat pan, and it's an Indian, or Harley solo seat that has been adapted to fit on their bike, then I will change the price accordingly.

Just call us with what you have, and what you need, and how we can help you. Remember though, all sales of seat will require a core charge, or a trade of a seat pan, that we can use. We will also sell you a seat pan, if you don't have a core.
We are now making our own Indian solos seat pans, Indian Chummie Pans, and Harley solo seat pans.  Hopefully the Indian Vertical solo seat pans will be ready by Christmas.
Prices are subject to change with out notice.  Colors of Leathers are subject to change, even on the same hide.  As I tell people, look at yourself in the mirror, are you the excate same color all over?  No?  Then neither are cows.  Especially the Chestnut color that we carry.  The tan normally stays the same per hide, however, the semi-naked leathers change from edge to edge, and from head to tail.  Call it a marble effect.  The natural vegtable tanned leater can and WILL change colors as it ages, so be sure to expect that.  Normally to the darker, rarely if ever lighter.

Thank you for taking the time to look over, and go thorough my web pages.  I do appreciate it.  Now on to the shipping, normally we used Fed Ex Ground for all of our shipping. Occasionally, we may ship a package with UPS, or even the US Post Office.

This being said, we will no longer ship “Any” item outside the continental 48 states with the US Post Office.  If you absolutely insist on using the US Post Office, outside the US, we will ship the item, but after it leaves our hands, it’s gone!  Please, do not call us if you choose the Post Office, and it never arrives.  Sorry about the bluntness of this message, but, we’ve never had a satisfactory shipment with the US Post Office.  This also includes Canada.

Attention:

If you are purchasing a seat from Heather's Leathers we will need one of the following as a core charge: a seat pan from you, or the cost of a seat pan. (This could include any Indian/Harley or other make that is in usable condition.)   If we do not receive a core from you, we will then charge you for a core.  Also, this core charge is in addition to the cost of your seat.
